Thanksgiving 2009

Happy Thanksgiving!!! This was Thanksgiving 2009 hosted by my sister Cathy. We had a great time and all the boys were wonderful! We also gave Grandpa Dick his picture of the five grandsons for his birthday present....I think he was tickled!

Christmas Lights

Today we are excited to hang our Christmas lights!!! We have our annual Christmas Party coming up and so it is nice to get the lights up early....this year, we are putting them up the day befor Thanksgiving!

Both Momma and Mom got a chance to get on the roof this year to work some Christmas Magic!...with the help from Lowen and Derek.














.......and for dinner? Home made Pizza!!!

We got to go out to Tractor Grandpa's house yesterday! Nov. 22 - We always have a good time out there - the boys really enjoy getting to ride the tractors or lawn mower and they really get a kick out of grandpa! Grandma Pam always makes a spread of soup and hot dogs...and we even got to have warm chocolate chip cookies when we were done from playing outside.

Grandpa leases out his field for some Buffalo. This is Willie and boy is he impressive. Lowen was so excited to see the big buffalo...I think this made his day!













The boys always look forward to a good time with Grandpa! We love you grandpa!

Lowen and Derek were invited to go to Lowen's best friend from EuropaKids third birthday. Ashen. What a blast! The boys really enjoyed their time at Ashen's house and being with all his friends and family. It's fun to see the kids finally start to really play and interact with other kids.

I guess he didn't want to get his hands dirty???? and that's Ashen in the foreground - cute kid!

Mom and Lil D... in this picture, we were dancing together.....he is so sweet!

Got some new windows for the cabin. We are so excited! They look great and will make such a big difference in how warm it stays in the winter. We used a company in Cle Elum (Summerset Windows and Doors) - EXCELLENT company owned by Chuck Dills. I was so impressed in their workmanship...all around an A+ job!

Of course since big brother got one, little brother needed one too....I don't know who's more proud....momma or li'l D?
He is so excited about his new bike!.....He wanted it to ride with him in the back seat....almost like sleeping with it!

WOODLAND PARK ZOO!!!! We went to the zoo Nov. 14th - it was cold, but worth it! Kurt was watching the girls and so a spontaneous trip left everyone in good spirits and tired out (a good thing). We got to see lots of interesting animals as the zoo is always delivering with a good time! Again, Lowen with his buddy Bryn.

Bath time is always the best! We have the boys together often in our big bathtub and it's almost like swimming lessons - water goes every where!
